Dun & Bradstreet's commitment to sustainability shines at the summit, showcasing innovative solutions like 'ESG Intelligence' and 'ESG Registered™,' with a focus on SMEs' vital role in ESG practices.

Dun & Bradstreet Saudi Arabia was awarded "Best Business Sustainability Company" accolade at the World ESG Summit, held from February 19-21. The summit, focused on ESG practices across economic sectors, recognised the company's commitment to sustainability and responsible investment.

As a Gold Sponsor of the summit, Dun & Bradstreet Saudi Arabia showcased its dedication to sustainability through two key initiatives. The first, 'ESG Intelligence,' offers an innovative solution empowering companies to quantify and assess the impact of their business partners' sustainability rankings. By providing reliable ESG data, ESG Intelligence helps businesses strengthen their ESG goals, refine policies, and streamline assessment processes.

The second initiative, 'ESG Registered™,' is a flagship product enabling companies to distinguish themselves and demonstrate their commitment to sustainability through a dedicated ESG seal usable on both digital and physical materials.

Mr. Nauman Lakhani, Group Director of Enterprise Solutions at Dun & Bradstreet South Asia, Middle East, and Africa, delivered an impactful speech during the event in a session titled "Beyond the Giants: Why SMEs Need a Seat at the ESG Table." He also participated in a panel discussion on "Sustainable Finance and ESG Reporting: Opportunities for Saudi Arabian Companies."

Mr. Lakhani emphasised the role of SMEs within the global ESG landscape, citing statistics that show SMEs contribute to 40 percent of global GDP and 50 percent of jobs. He highlighted the need for inclusive ESG practices, stating that for ESG to fulfil its promise, SMEs must be included.

During his presentations, Mr. Lakhani addressed the complexities of current and future ESG regulations and discussed the practical applications of Dun & Bradstreet's ESG products, ESG Intelligence, and ESG RegisteredTM, for businesses. The company's commitment to boosting collaboration and leading collective progress towards a sustainable future was underscored by this recognition at the World ESG Summit.
