Investment of AED 35 million to boost production capacity, create 120 jobs. CEO praises RAKEZ’s support; aims to target new MENA markets while maintaining quality standards.

Al Yamuna Densons, has announced an investment of AED 35 million to expand its facility in Ras Al Khaimah. The expansion, set to be completed by May, will boost the company's regional operations, underscoring its commitment to serving the power distribution industry with innovative solutions.

Established over 50 years ago, Al Yamuna Densons initiated its assembling unit in Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone in 2013. Since then, the company has been instrumental in providing solutions to markets across the UAE, Oman, KSA, Kuwait, Bahrain, Algeria, Egypt, and Malaysia. Notable clients in the UAE include Abu Dhabi Distribution Co., Al Ain Distribution Company, Dubai Electricity and Water Authority, Etihad Water & Electricity, and Sharjah Electricity & Water Authority.

The expansion initiative marks a milestone for Al Yamuna Densons, as the Ras Al Khaimah unit transitions from merely assembling imported goods to manufacturing all cable parts and assembling kits on-site. This move is meant to enhance operational efficiency and enable the company to meet the growing demands of its clientele.

CEO of Al Yamuna Densons, Ravi Sardana, expressed confidence in Ras Al Khaimah as an ideal location for expansion, citing its business-friendly environment and superior infrastructure. Sardana acknowledged the important role played by RAKEZ in facilitating the company's growth, emphasising the proactive support received from the authorities.

The expansion project entails an investment of approximately AED 20 million in construction and an additional AED 15 million in machinery. With these investments, Al Yamuna Densons aims to target new markets in the MENA region while upholding the highest standards of quality and innovation.

RAKEZ Group CEO, Ramy Jallad, commended Al Yamuna Densons' journey in the region and underscored the importance of their expansion in Ras Al Khaimah. Jallad reiterated RAKEZ's commitment to providing a conducive business ecosystem for industrial growth, emphasising the role of supportive infrastructure in boosting economic diversity.

The expansion initiative is expected to create an additional 120 jobs, further contributing to the economic prosperity of Ras Al Khaimah and reinforcing the emirate's position as a hub for industrial excellence in the region.
